How it works
SundayLock is a no-repeat NFL pick'em league. It takes about thirty seconds a week to play, and the whole season comes down to how well you ration your favourite teams.
One pick per week
Every week you choose exactly one NFL team you think will win. Several players in your league can pick the same team in the same week — you're not competing for teams, you're competing on results.
Never the same team twice
Once you've used a team, they're gone for the rest of the season. That's the whole game: spend the good teams early and you'll be scraping the bottom of the barrel in December.
Predict the margin
With each pick you also predict how many points your team will win by (1–99). The margin isn't worth points on its own — it's the tiebreaker.
Picks lock at kickoff
You can change your pick as often as you like right up until that game kicks off. After kickoff it's frozen.
Hidden until kickoff
Nobody in your league can see your pick before the game starts — and you can't see theirs. Once a game kicks off, that pick becomes public in the matrix.
Scoring
Your team wins, you get a win. Your team loses or ties, you get a loss. Standings sort by wins, then by fewest losses, then by the lowest total margin error.
Missed picks
If a week ends and you never submitted a pick, it counts as a missed pick (MP) — no win, and it shows on the leaderboard. Future weeks you haven't picked yet don't count against you.
Margin error, explained
Say you pick the Chiefs and predict they win by 7. They win by 10 — your margin error for that week is 3. If they lose by 4, your error is 11 (you were 7 the wrong way plus the 4 they lost by).
Your total error is the sum across every graded week. It only matters when two players are tied on wins and losses — the lower total error finishes ahead.
Getting in
SundayLock is invite-only right now. If your email hasn't been invited, sign-up won't work — ask your commissioner to add you.
Once you're in, you'll get a league invite link. Open it, tap accept, and you're playing.
